I have not always been thrilled by photography. Back in 2000, at school everybody was crazy about taking 100 times the same pictures of the same people. For me it all started in 2006 in Gran Canaria during an ERASMUS exchange, when I bought my first small compact camera that I took with me every time I went hiking. In 2008 I got my first reflex and now I enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, conferences and sport events (when I’m not participating to them).
For the landscape picture I try to be at the right place and at the right time, I am not too keen on spending minutes (or hours) with the editing software or using the instagram filters.
As an oceanographer I enjoy taking pictures of natural phenomenon in the sea or in the atmophere, and clouds are a really cool subject.
